The Music Train
Experience a thrilling train journey through the beautiful landscapes of Småland with the Music Train! Board Ohsabanan's historic train and let the wheels roll through the beautiful forests of Småland while the tunes from PPM take you on a musical journey through time.
Once in Gimarp, you are treated to an atmospheric concert where PPM performs its unique mix of bluegrass, country and Americana - all with a focus on vocals and acoustic instruments in classic 40s-50s style.
During the evening, grilled hamburgers, non-alcoholic drinks, coffee and cake will be served - all included in the ticket price.
The music train is a magical combination of scenic travel and live music.
The music train only runs on August 8th. Departure is at 6:00 PM and you will be back in Ohs Bruk around 8:50 PM.

Reservation
Tickets for the Music Train will go on sale on April 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
Tickets
A ticket costs SEK 395. The ticket price includes round-trip travel between Ohs Bruk and Gimarp, a concert with the band PPM, grilled hamburgers, non-alcoholic drinks, coffee and cake.
In addition to the ticket price, there is a small administrative fee charged by the card companies for each booking. Payment can only be made by debit or credit card.
Tickets for special events such as the Music Train cannot be cancelled. If available, it is possible to rebook the tickets for another departure. It is not possible to bring strollers or animals on the train. Strollers can be left inside the station during the journey.
Please note that you must refresh the page when tickets are released for the booking function to load. This does not happen automatically. Tickets are not reserved when they are added to the shopping cart, but when the booking is completed.

Upon arrival at Ohs Bruk, you check in at the station by showing your booking confirmation. You will then receive period souvenir tickets that the conductor will then cut on the train. You will also be told which carriage and table you will be seated in. Remember to arrive well in advance of departure.
If a group of people has booked tickets with separate reservations and wishes to sit in the same carriage and at the same table, please report this here .
If tickets are sold out, you can put yourself on our reserve list . If tickets become available, you will be contacted.
For our wheelchair-bound travelers, we ask that you also add the free wheelchair space ticket when booking your ticket.
There are two parking lots in Ohs Bruk (see map below). Toilets are available both in Ohs Bruk and in Gimarp. There are no toilets on the train.
